How to use our kit? It’s simple!
STEP 1:
Use the Leather Pro Cleaner and a sponge to remove surface dirt from the leather. After the leather has dried (you can use a hairdryer to speed up the process), use the Leather Colour Prep and a microfiber cloth to partially remove the old clear coat and paint. If you feel any roughness on the leather, gently sand the surface using the sandpaper included in the kit.
STEP 2:
Use the Leather Grease Remover and a microfiber cloth or cotton rag to degrease the leather surface. This will remove any remaining loose paint and clear coat. The new paint will adhere perfectly.
STEP 3:
Mix the Leather Pro Colourant and apply the first coat using a sponge. Remember to apply the colourant in circular motions. Wait for the first coat to dry completely. You can speed up the drying process using a hairdryer. Apply additional coats (3 or 4) until full coverage is achieved, using the sponge or a spray gun. It is important to let each coat dry thoroughly before applying the next one.
STEP 4:
Protect the finish with the Leather Top Finish clear coat. Apply 3 or 4 thin coats of the product. Remember that each coat must be completely dry before applying the next one.
