Leather Primer – a product enhancing paint adhesion for leather and vinyl

Leather Primer is a solution designed to improve the adhesion of colourant to leather and PU leather. When applied, it creates a micro-layer that enhances the adhesion of Leather Pro Colourant paint.

Leather Primer does not alter the properties of the leather; after painting, the leather remains soft, flexible, and the repair is much more durable, following the art of restoration.

How to use Leather Primer? It’s simple!

1. Apply the product before applying Leather Pro Colourant paint. This will create a flexible micro-layer that bonds the colourant to the leather.
2. Use it in combination with Leather Stabilizer. Your mixture should contain approximately 95% Leather Primer and 5% Leather Stabilizer. Use the prepared mixture within 3.5 hours.
3. Apply one or two thin coats to the leather or PU leather.
4. The primer is activated by heat. Use a hairdryer or heat gun between coats. Do not fully dry, just gently heat to activate.
5. After activating the primer, proceed to apply Leather Pro Colourant paint for leather coloring.

For 6 days after completing the restoration, do not clean or treat the leather.
