The Leather & Vinyl Repair Kit is the first complete kit on the market for repairing leather\/PU leather. Unlike other kits, it also includes Leather Pro Cleaner for cleaning the leather before starting the restoration.<\/p>\n
This ensures that:<\/strong><\/p>\n Leather Pro Cleaner<\/strong> – removes dirt while eliminating odors such as sweat or cigarette smoke. It is effective and safe for both light and dark leather, regardless of colour. Spray Leather Pro Cleaner onto the cloth or sponge and apply it to the leather. Wait for approximately 15 seconds – during this time, the dirt should dissolve. Clean the leather using circular motions<\/p>\n Leather Bonder –<\/strong> a product designed to strengthen heavily worn natural leather – worn down to the flesh (the area without paint or finish). The product penetrates into the leather, binding loose and weakened fibers, commonly known as “leather fuzz,” which can be felt by touch. Apply two or three thin layers to each damaged area using a sponge. After applying each layer, allow the surface to dry<\/p>\n Leather Strong Glue –<\/strong> a highly flexible adhesive for leather, based on water-based polyurethanes. The product boasts high adhesive strength and is very efficient. Glue the leather from the inner side, adhering the fibers to each other. Apply a thin layer of the product to both glued surfaces. For larger damages, use thin fabric or thin leather to reinforce the glued area<\/p>\n Leather Filler Paste –<\/strong> a modern product in the form of a putty that works perfectly for repairing leather or faux leather. The product is recommended for filling in gaps such as holes, scratches, cuts, cracks, and deep wrinkles. Apply Leather Filler Paste to dry leather\/faux leather using a putty knife or applicator. For deeper gaps, gradually fill them by applying thin layers. Allow each layer to dry thoroughly after application<\/p>\n Leather Flexible Filler –<\/strong> – a highly flexible paste that works well for filling shallow leather\/PUleather gaps that appear in heavily used areas. Leather Flexible Filler is designed to fill in shallow gaps such as scratches, scrapes, shallow wrinkles, and cracks that often occur on larger leather surfaces<\/p>\n Apply Leather Flexible Filler to dry leather using a putty knife or applicator. Wait for the product to dry or use a hairdryer for thorough drying. The liquid leather may shrink upon drying, so fill in the gaps gradually by applying additional layers of the product. Remember that each layer must be completely dry before applying the next.<\/p>\n After completing the repair, proceed to colorize the leather to restore its colour.<\/strong><\/p>\n STEP 1:<\/p>\n Use Leather Grease Remover and a microfiber or cotton cloth to degrease the leather surface.<\/p>\n STEP 2:<\/p>\n Mix Leather Pro Colourant paint and apply the first layer of the product with a sponge – remember to spread the paint in circular motions. Wait for the first layer to dry thoroughly. You can expedite the drying process by using a hairdryer. Apply additional layers (3 or 4) until complete coverage is achieved, using the sponge or a spray gun. It is important that each layer of colourant is completely dry before applying the next one.<\/p>\n STEP 3:<\/p>\n Protect the finish with Leather Top Finish clear lacquer. Apply 3 or 4 thin layers of the product. Remember, each layer must be thoroughly dry before applying the next one.
